About This Beer
To craft this treat, the Masthead crew blended Imperial Stouts aged for 24 months in bourbon, rye whiskey, and apple brandy barrels. It all makes for a decadent, roasty brew brimming with oaky character.
Tasting Notes
Each thick sip cascades with tones of rich dark cocoa and creme brûlée. Nuances of caramel apple and woody spice ripple throughout with a 15% ABV peaking just underneath.

pretty smooth for the octane but a slight knock thought it would have more barrel

nice legs in the glass. Heat on the nose. Almost a little burnt taste. maybe it the rye-brandy combo. warm finish.
