The Grimm crew calls this brew “maximalism for minimalists” and “minimalism for maximalists,” which couldn’t be more apt. To craft it, they aged a silky, rich Stout base in Booker’s bourbon barrels for 19 months, infusing it with deep, opulent whiskey nuances.

Enormous, complex currents of chocolate-covered raisins and caramel-coated dates course through every velvety quaff brightened by a creme anglaise note. Hints of toffee and spiced oak carry on a long, intricate finish.
