At the very end of 2021, Gabe Fletcher of Anchorage Brewing released a barrel aged Barleywine/Stout blend that absolutely blew us all away here at Tavour. Clearly, based on the massive 4.55 Tavour rating, Open Up More blew y’all away too! 

Now, after ALL THAT TIME, there’s a new batch coming out, and we’re so stoked to try it! This version comprises Barleywine aged 19 months in Willett Bourbon barrels and Stout aged 28 months in Hemingway Rye barrels!

Anchorage has some of the most impressive, sought-after barrel stock anywhere on the planet. So you know the components of this blend are absolutely sublime. 

Together, we’re expecting more than the sum of their parts. Look forward to deep notes of burnt sugar, caramel, and dark chocolate coursing throughout the sip. Hints of raisinettes and fruit leather should lead to a silky finish, accented by complex layers of charred oak and top shelf bourbon.
