About This Beer
To craft this decadent dessert, the renowned, Canadian crew at Collective Arts teamed up with New Yorks’ Equilibrium Brewing. They started by brewing a big, roasty Imperial Stout swimming with cocoa notes. Then they aged it in freshly emptied bourbon barrels for swirls of vanilla and woody spice.
Next, they finished the brew in tawny port casks, imparting the elixir with lush nuances of dark fruit and nuts, and conditioned it on juicy dark cherries, vanilla, and cacao nibs.
Tasting Notes
Every velvety sip glides over the palate with opulent notes of chocolate truffles filled with cherry cordial, vanilla mousse, and figgy jam. Whispers of red wine and oak carry underneath — completely masking the bold 11.5% ABV.

just thought this was a very good stout. well balanced flavor profile. I thought the port and cherry aging added a lot to the beer.

The first sip makes you thinks this beer will be pretty good. unfortunately, as you get to the 5th or 6th you will find yourself a little disappointed.

Thick dark and sweet. Cherries dipped in Chocolate. Glad I ordered more than 2. Delicious.

EC nailed the Black Forest thing spot on, sweet honey graham crackers and candied cherries on the front and boozy oakiness on the back…nice winter warmer

Good overall, but the cherries and port wine didn't work for me.

This is really rather good. Port wine, bourbon, and vanilla are prominent, with a mellow cherry finish.
