And batch #6 of this beloved annual release from Moonraker promises to be more magical than any wizard. So if you’re a Stout fan, and you’re in need of a heart, this thick-bodied brew will have you singing and dancing in no time.

The brewers aged this year’s rendition in a variety of carefully selected Buffalo Trace bourbon barrels for nearly two years, infusing the already fudgy brew with top shelf whiskey, caramel, and oak nuances. Notes of vanilla should skip through the finish, along with just a whisper of barrel char.

It doesn’t take a brand new brain to realize that this limited edition brew deserves a place in your cellar. But you can’t get it by clicking your heels together — this stunner will only make it home if you hit that ‘get it’ button before all the Stout fans. 

This edition of Original Oil is too new for ratings, but the series holds an overall score of 4.33 on Untappd!
