A Note on This Beer
- “Whew, this is good stuff! Got me buzzin’ like a cicada.” @Mike B.
- “Like the old school death metal style of this can, this thing is straight up classic RUSSIAN IMPERIAL STOUT ALL THE WAY!” @Peter K.
- “Beers like this have me wondering why I don’t just live at Adroit Theory, waiting for more dark beers.” @M R.
Adroit Theory’s dark beer game is always on point, and people know it! Today’s Russian Imperial Stout from the Virginia brew crew reps them well, and doesn’t pull any punches!
Every pour practically consumes light, with a pitch black body that recalls images of the underground, or a cup of deeply roasted coffee.
With a bellowing 12% ABV, that is! Each glass of this midnight-hued Stout teems with toffee, malt, and cacao notes. Roasty coffee aromas hit up front, rolling into smooth, rich malt as they linger on the taste buds. A tingling warmth settles in on the finish, begging for another sip.
And, for any fan of higher gravity beer, multiple sips of those complex, bold notes complemented with a warm, boozy profile is as good as it gets!
Don’t be buried in ‘should have’ and ‘could haves’: if you’ve yet to try an Adroit Theory dark beer, now is your chance to join the community of drinkers who buzz about their mastery!
