About This Beer
When I found out that Liquid Gravity joined forces with EC Comics (the ‘Tales from the Crypt’ creators themselves!) to brew a Citra and Mosaic-packed West Coast Pale Ale, I threw my head back like the Crypt Keeper and cackled with joy!
Tasting Notes
Pale from the Crypt bursts with peach, tangerine, and passionfruit tones. Caramel malt and two-row barley provide a smooth, mouthwatering flavor, while torrified wheat brings more creamy, velvety foam than you’ll typically see in a Pale Ale.

Very solid pale. Crisp and clean with just enough hops and bitterness.

A great pale ale that I want to try to emulate in my own pale ales just wish I knew what caramel malt they used

Great IPA, not overly hoppy either. Lovely beer to drink on a nice warm spring day.

A bit citrusy. Not obnoxiously hoppy, thankfully. All-around delicious pale ale in one of the coolest cans I’ve seen in a while.

Nice hoppy APA but I would buy this for the can art alone … gotta love the old EC Comics. Nice citrusy hoppy aroma and flavor but a bit light from airy carbonation. Extra .25 for can art.

one of the most drinkable pale ales I have ever tasted. will buy again at the nest opportunity.

I have to say first and foremost, the canary is beyond gorgeous. That said, I am not an IPA drinker and I could drink this all day. Really great balance of citrus and hops. Not too dry.

Pale From The Crypt is a big, bold, unapologetic West Coast Pale Ale. It boasts a robust aroma of peaches, tangerines, and passion fruit. A backbone of two-row barley, caramel malt, and torrified wheat act to balance the beer for a nice pale ale experience. 3.8/5.0 rating.

Didn't taste anything special. I wouldn't be able to tell this Pale Ale apart from a cheap tall boy from the gas station. Didn't even finish my can.

A bit too fruity for me. I prefer a good pale ale to be hoppier and less fruity. But mega props for honoring the old EC comics!

Bright, honey gold pour. Rocky white head. Fragrant citrus and stone fruit aroma. Crisp, malty flavor upfront. Notes of peach, melon and tangerine. Light to medium bodied. Some toasted bread and earthy spice in middle. Subtle pine and herbal notes in the pleasant finish.

Grapefruit & tangerine in aroma. Taste follows aroma w/more citrus character. Light maltiness w/some bitterness & dryness. Finishes
touch too quickly for me.
