A Note on This Beer
When Seattle gets that one sunny day after relentless spring showers, craft fans don’t waste the opportunity to swarm Fremont’s beer garden. And if there’s a brand new release like today’s crisp and refreshing Parkland Pils, you’re gonna enjoy that sun for a little longer waiting in line.
Parkland is springtime in a Pilsner glass: Citrusy, smooth, and with enough bite to keep Lager fans downing pint after delicious pint. A thirst quencher that was originally just for Fremont’s brew team. But it was so delicious, they decided to make it a new seasonal for their fans.
Loaded with a Czech sense of refreshment and Fremont’s hop swagger, this is a Pilsner for the 21st Century. Grown fresh in Washington’s Yakima Valley, traditional Saaz Hops dish out that floral, grassy bite you find in Urquell. Fremont doubles the hop presence, infusing Magnum Hops which unfurl a minty, bitter balance. Inspired use of light caramel Carafoam malts amplify the biscuity character of this classic style with a bigger mouthfeel.
Rain, rain, go away, Parkland Pils makes every day a sunny day in Fremont. Only available for a month this spring, make sure to stock up on enough sunshine in a can to last you til summer.
*Best served in a tall Pilsner glass with a cool breeze, grilling brats.
