About This Beer
The brewers inherited coveted 30-gallon Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey barrels from FEW Spirits and then used them to age their iconic base Stout for a whopping 18 months! Those smaller barrels mean more surface area per gallon, and that makes for more flavor!
Tasting Notes
Look forward to notes of pumpernickel bread and expertly pulled espresso melding with hints of dark chocolate, toffee, and black cherry. As it warms, spicy rye nuances and hints of tannic oak should linger on the palate, obscuring the body-warming 15.2% ABV.
