About This Beer
Cerebral got together with Horus Aged Ales’ Kyle Harrop to craft a second batch of today’s smooth Imperial Stout. And Peace Be The Journey (2025) glides across your palate more smoothly than a qualifying run by the 1988 Jamaican Olympic bobsled team!
The brew crew infused a roasty base with Comoros vanilla and plenty of Kenyan Kibingo Estate coffee from Onyx Coffee for all the nuances of an expertly-pulled cuppa from your favorite café.
Tasting Notes
Each medium-bodied sip gathers speed on notes of dark chocolate and earthy tobacco before it slides into bright, pear- and lemon-like tones from the light-roast coffee. Finally, the taste crosses the finish line with lingering café au lait touches.

Lots of coffee and some carbonation. Light body on the gentle stout base.

Heavily carbonated and low-bodied with an overpowering, indistinguishable flavor that’s peppery and acidic. On the back end you can make out a little bit of coffee, chocolate, and stone fruit character. Not impressed with this one.
