About This Beer
My nonna always said that everything tastes better with fresh herbs. When it comes to Peach Basil, I have to agree!
US Cider Open medalists Wild State started with their custom blend of fresh-pressed apples, then added juicy, ripe peaches, apricots, and basil for a unique and satisfying seasonal treat.
And, like all Wild State Ciders, it’s sorbate free and doesn’t use any artificial sweeteners.
This isn’t your grandma’s Cider, but with its aromatic herbal bouquet, my nonna would certainly approve!
Tasting Notes
It’s the luminous golden orange of a ripe peach in the glass, with a sweet, stone-fruit succulence up front, finishing dry and herbal.

Super peachy and basily, I actually thought it was more on
the sweet side then dry,
but overall it’s very tasty.

I expected to love this, but it honestly wasn't my favorite. It tastes weirdly savory?

Haven’t tasted a lot of cider in my life but this one is up there for how smooth it goes down, as well as the sweet to sour ratio you receive after each bittersweet sip.

Light cider. Nice balance between fruity and herbal. Very aromatic. Strong basil aftertaste. Would pair week with Italian food. Overall quite crushable.

Very nice and balanced, appreciated the fact it was on the drier side. GOOD JOB!

a touch too sweet for me though the flavors compete for the spotlight in the best way

Needs more peach flavor. Reminds me of a flavored brut champagne. First sip is kind of jarring, but aftertaste is nicer.

not bad!

Basil doesn’t come through in scent or taste. Peach is very present, a rich stone fruit flavor against the dry cider.
