A Note on This Beer
There are countless ways to prepare a peach. Grill ‘em, stuff ‘em, blend ‘em, bake ‘em, peel ‘em, crush ‘em… you know what they say — to peach his own!
As for me, the craft masters at Indiana’s 2Toms Brewing know just how I like my peaches: swirled into a juicy, mouthwatering Pastry Sour. And, they knocked it outta the park with today’s Peach Scoop!
To make it, the brewers took all the fixins for a downhome-style cobbler and mixed them into a deliciously puckering Sour Ale base. Fresh peach fruit blends with warming cinnamon spice, accentuating the tangy stone fruit flavor. A hint of smooth vanilla adds another layer of pie-filling sweetness to every sip
The lip-pursing zing of the Sour base beer doesn’t take a backseat to all these dessert flavors, though. Rather, the tartness beautifully complements the realistic flavors of fresh-baked peach cobbler à la mode. And, because Peach Scoop is so light and crushable, it’s way more refreshing than any dessert I could whip up in the kitchen.
So, if you feel like you need a peach fix, but don’t want to prep them up yourself, be like me and let the pastry professionals at 2Toms handle it for you!
