Despite constant demand from Windy City craft fans, Indiana’s Windmill Brewing doesn’t send beer to their neighbors in Illinois. In fact, everything they make gets swooped up before it leaves the Hoosier State!

But, this little brewery sure has shaken up the Midwest craft scene — even the Chicago Tribune says their beers are “bold, creative, and uniformly well made.”

To find out exactly what that means, look no further than today’s Peaches and Memes Milkshake IPA!

To make it, the Windmill crew sources regionally-grown peaches, which they bring in whole and process into puree themselves using hand blenders. It’s a lot of work, but it gives the beer a bolder, brighter, ‘peachier’ flavor.

Then, they add rich vanilla beans and a creamy ribbon of lactose for a milkshake finish. Mosaic Hops bring notes of ripe berry, citrus, and just enough pithiness on the finish to remind you that this brew came from your beer fridge, and not a 1950s diner.
