I love 903, but I found this beer a bit disappointing. The base stout flavor doesn't meld well with the coffee and peanut butter. I found it pretty meh.

We ordered this from Tavour. Chilled and poured into a goblet. Look: dark dark brown, almost black. Nice finger sized tan head of large bubbles that dissipate quickly. Small lacing around the glass that do not hang around very long. Smell: roasted peanuts with chocolate (like a peanut butter cup). I don't get oaky but I guess if I reach). Not super coffee smelling. Taste: very similar to the smell. sweet up front with peanut butter, chocolate and then sweet Reese's peanut butter cup that lingers, foloowed by mild roasty sweet espresso. Peanut butter cup in the nose then some bittersweet oaky notes that hang around after the swallow. Not super bitter and not boozy at all. Feel: full but mellow malty feel with a nice tickle of carbonation Overall we really liked this one. For the 903 lovers, this is a nice addition to their chocolate stout base. We live in Washington State and travel to the DFW every once in a while and make the drive to 903 just to get some stuff we can bring back with us. Super creative stuff and this one is like you are sipping on a liquid Reese's peanut butter cup with a hint of booze and bitter notes that really bring together a luxurious beer. Love 903 and this is a good addition to their profile for sure. Cheers everyone!

Bittersweet espresso flavor hits a little too hard. Somewhat overpowering and takes away from the peanut butter notes. Finishes off smooth but the initial taste is very bitter.

The coffee and the peanut butter play together wonderfully in this thick, robust stout. Even a friend who doesn't like coffee thought it was amazing!

It’s exactly as advertised. Strong ABV you can feel. Definitely a Stout, but restrained a bit by the barrel aging. Strong bitter espresso flavors. Almost perfect peanut butter flavors and aromas. If you like your stouts bitter and almost to the point, this is for you. I would personally like a good bit of lactose in this to add sweetness and to boost the peanut butter richness, but that’s just me. Still very good.

Tastes just like it reads. Espresso and peanut butter. Like breakfast. Excellent.

As other reviews have said, way too bitter on the front end, so much that it overpowers the stout and peanut butter flavors. Finishes thin too. Considering the price point, it’s a big meh.

Holy s$&t this is amazing!!!!! Great flavors and the peanut butter is very subtle. Strong punch for sure but a nice relaxing dessert beer for sure

This was super dark, pretty bitter, with a nice peanut butter taste. That oak barrel aftertaste hits you like a truck. If you’re into strong, bitter beers, and peanut butter, this is the brew for you

A pretty smooth Stout. The peanut butter and coffee hit right away and somewhat hide the Stout flavor. A solid beer from 903.

Very much a peanut butter forward chocolate milk stout. Silky smooth.

The espresso comes through a little harsher than I expected, it’s a little too bitter for my taste, but it’s definitely drinkable. It finishes smooth.

With this poured into a chilled glass I had high hopes. It had a very strong espresso flavor that definitely overtook the peanut butter flavors added. I'm glad I got to try this one, but I wish the flavor was more balanced with the peanut butter and the espresso.

PB nose and finish, long lingering PB notes. Midpalate the espresso shows up. Feels light at tip, but sizeable body at consumption. Never heavy, but rich notes of PB, coffee bean, and mocha.

I agree with others that it is more bitter than I enjoy. But otherwise good - not too sweet, either.

Love the peanut butter and espresso - smooth and complex, initial PB with an espresso “barrel aged” finish! It’s so nice and smooth with that extra kick!!
