When I was a kid, I went on adventures every Friday after school. I’d trudge up steep hills, push through bushes into neighbors’ backyards, and climb trees until the branches began to wobble under my feet. After all my exploring, I’d sit back, relax, and enjoy a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

Nowadays, a quick walk around the block is about as much adventure as I get! But luckily, my post-exploit PB&J experience has gotten more exciting with Energy City’s Bistro Grande Peanut Butter and Raspberry Fruited Sour.

The brewery packed all the smooth nuttiness and sweet berry punch of this childhood favorite into a Berliner Weisse-style beer, with the added goodness of an 8% ABV!

The days of after-school escapades may be over, but it’s not too late to snag this taste of childhood in a can. Knowing how quickly Energy City’s Bistro Grande beers sell out, it may be a good idea to swoop these up with a little adolescent abandon.
