Today’s beer from Resident Culture is a lot like my favorite ‘80s cartoon: Voltron!

Remember Voltron? He was a giant space robot made up of 5 smaller robots, and he defended the universe from a variety of evils.

Perception Check IPA is likewise a giant IPA made up of 5 deliciously juicy hops. The result is a massively fruity beer that will vanquish your evil thirst with fantastically fruity flavors! Let’s break down the hops:

First, there’s Mosaic, providing a berry-blasted base for the beer to stand on!

Next, Citra swoops in with tangy tangerine to terrify the tyrannous! 

Then Amarillo joins the fray, with a pop of pithy grapefruit to balance the brew!

Now Vic Secret pounces, unleashing pineapple, pine, and passionfruit!

Finally, Galaxy pulverizes peril with powerful peachy punches!

Together, they form Perception Check! Loved by haze heads, feared by lesser brews! But instead of being “from uncharted regions of the universe,” this hero comes from Charlotte, North Carolina. 

Although it is almost as rare as giant space robots — we’ve got just 35 cases to go around! If you’re lucky enough to score a can, you’d better be ready to ride this bold brew straight to the final flavor frontier!
