A Note on This Beer
Nothing says ‘summer’ like my aunt Amy’s key lime pie!
Except for Aunt Cathy’s coconut cream pie. At family gatherings, these ladies force me to judge which dessert is better while staring at me expectantly and shooting each other superior looks.
It’s like being asked to pick a favorite child!
Which is why I’m thankful for the geniuses at Divine Barrel — their coconut key lime pie Fruited Sour deliciously takes the pressure off!
To craft it, the GABF award-winning crew joined forces with Boston Magazine’s reader-voted Best Brewery in New England, Vitamin Sea.
Perception is Spoonfed overflows with the tangy juices of key limes and the sweetness of flaked coconut and vanilla. Velvety marshmallows and milk sugar add a supple fullness to the mouthfeel, while nutty graham crackers give it a mouthwatering pie crust finish.
With all of that irresistible flavor, it’s no wonder craft fans rate it 4.31 on UT!
Sour lovers like @Scott S. are practically begging for second helpings, raving, “Ummmm . . . this is CRAZY. CLEARLY taste key lime at first sip, then it turns to strong graham cracker, vanilla, marshmallow with a coconut finish . . . incredible . . . I’ll take 100 more of these.”
Unfortunately, we don’t have enough to give everyone on Tavour a hundred cans. But, if you’re fast . . . you can still dive into this sumptuous taste of summer!
