About This Beer
The GABF medal-winning Fonta Flora team dove headfirst into the Barleywine pool with Periodic Motion. To start, they filled the mash with a complex blend of Caramel and Crystal Malts for a rich, smooth flavor and a robust body. Then, they barrel aged the barley beauty in Buffalo Trace barrels for an entire year!
Tasting Notes
Sumptuous, sticky date and dried fruit flavors begin the sip, with swaths of complex oak character and hints of bourbon heat. A light finish of velvety vanilla and caramel make this a decadent treat akin to a melted lava cake filled to the brim with fudge – all equipped with a 12% ABV!
