About This Beer
Walking through my neighborhood this time of year always puts me in the mood for a Porter. That’s why the next time I stroll around the block, I’m taking today’s Porter with me. The crew at Perennial, named “One of the 10 Best Breweries in America” by VinePair, lagered this melange of malts and German hops for 12 glorious weeks. The result is a silky sipper tailor-made for scarves and sweaters!
Tasting Notes
The roasty flavor veers towards smokiness, with a light char accentuating nuances of baker’s chocolate, dark fruit, and black coffee. Your taste buds might mistake the gulp for a bite of heavily-toasted raisin bread dusted in cocoa!

Creamy head, roasted malt aroma, coffee and semi-sweet chocolate tastes with hints of bread and raisins, smooth mouthfeel, dry, and a bitter finish.

Interesting German Porter made with a Bock Lager yeast. Roasty with some definite baker’s chocolate notes.
