A Note on This Beer
To the people who pleaded with us to get more pickle beers, today is your day — yeah, I’m talking to you, Guy With the Pickle-Crazed Girlfriend!
Pickle Gose is here, and it’s the answer to your prayers.
And for anyone whose faces might’ve just wrenched in disgust after reading the words “Pickle” and “Gose” together, hear me out — Don’t knock it ‘til you try it!
Pickle is crafted by the masters of Fruit Beers over at Urban Artifact (and YES, cucumbers ARE a fruit. Google it). This is the brewery The Beer Travel Guide calls the Best Place For Sours in Cincinnati. But craft fans all over Ohio are having their pickles tickled, calling it “surprisingly good” and “better than I expected!”
Crafted with 1,000 lbs of cucumbers, 2 lbs of fresh dill, 9 lbs of sea salt, and 1.25 lbs of coriander per batch, Pickle Gose is FOR SURE salty, sour, dilly, and cucumber-y. Just as a pickle ought to be.
The cucumbers lend a fruity crispness to the brew, while the dill and sea salt harmonize to impart a tart and lightly-brined complexity. Add in the coriander with an easy-drinkin' 4.3% ABV, and you’ve got yourself a bunch o’ boozy pickles in a can!
Even if you’re not a pickle freak like me, you probably know someone who is. And you KNOW they would be stoked to drink down some boozy pickle juice.
You can’t find Pickle Gose outside of Ohio though! So, Guy With the Pickle-Crazed Girlfriend, now’s your chance — load up on Pickle Gose today and give the girl what she wants!
