A Note on This Beer

Pineapple might be controversial on pizza, but anyone who says this sunshiny fruit doesn’t belong in beer hasn’t tried today’s Pineapple Shake IPA.

The Westbrook crew crafted this vanilla-laced hopbomb, with over 1,000 lbs of real tropical pineapple per batch! @Alex M. calls it “probably my favorite Milkshake IPA,” and @Eric D says it “reminds me of a pineapple upside down cake!”

The brewers amped up all that tropical deliciousness with a massive dry-hopping of Citra and El Dorado, along with flaked oats and a touch of lactose for an ultra-creamy finish.

It tastes like something you’d get from a caribbean bakery — pineapple for days, with notes of passionfruit and citrus, and a creamy vanilla finish. Plus, it’s spiked with a 7% ABV!

And, it really does go fantastically well with pizza, no matter what toppings you go for.

It tastes like it reads, very citrus and packed full of fresh whipped pineapples. I'm not an IPA fan but I would drink this one again. I wish I would have bought two.

strong frothy milky flavors with IPA hoppy undertones. it’s pretty good but is more of a treat than just a beer you can have with pizza. Not so crazy about the flavor but it delivers on what it promises, a milkshake with pineapple crossed with an IPA through and through.

I’m not a big IPA drinker, but this was a great easy sipping beer. Extremely aromatic (like a normal IPA) with a great pineapple flavor and creamy finish.
