A Note on This Beer

I remember the first time I tried pineapple upside-down cake like it was yesterday. We were at my family’s annual Labor Day picnic, and it happened to be Aunt Cathy’s specialty.

Even though it was years ago, once I’d tasted that moist, sweet cake topped with caramelized brown sugar, pineapples, and juicy maraschino cherries, those heavenly flavors were imprinted on my mind forever.

Pineapple Upside Down Sherbet takes my favorite retro treat and transforms it into a refreshing, tropical, smoothie-style beer. Think of it as ‘Upside Down Cake 2.0’!

To craft this impressively fruit-a-licious 4.35 UT-Rated brew, Untitled Art used a jaw-dropping 7,000 lbs of fresh pineapple purée. Then, they followed it with a truckload of vanilla beans, whole cherries, and a dash of lactose!

Each pillowy-smooth sip tastes just like Aunt Cathy’s freshly baked dessert — if her cake could get you buzzed, that is.

I guess this might be some peoples thing but I hated it. Waaaaay to sugary. Only beer Ive ever had from Tavour I havent liked.

This is outrageously good! The pineapple is the first note you smell and flavor you taste which is no wonder with the amount of pineapple purée used to make it. The cherries offer the perfect amount of tart contrast and the lactose smooths everything over and adds a delectable creaminess. So glad to see my home state of Wisconsin putting out awesome brews. Definitely don’t sleep on this!

Like a liquid pineapple upside down cake. Untitled Art really hit the nail on the head with this one. I taste sweet ripe pineapple, bright cherry, and the caramelized sugar. Amazing!!!

Can taste every element of an actual pineapple upside down cake. From the pineapple, to the cherries, to the vanilla. It is pretty sweet, so just be ready for that.

I wish I would have ordered more than 2 cans! This beer is so tasty! It doesn't even taste like beer. It tastes just like a pineapple upside down cake!

I wanted to love this beer. I did. I tried it ice cold and I tried it less cold. I tried it after dinner as a dessert. I tried it on a hot day. Nope. I don’t want to rate this too low because it does have a great flavor. It’s just too sweet for me. After about a 1/4 of a glass I couldn’t continue. Pineapple flavor is amazing. It is a thick beer. It was always way to sweet for me to finish a can. Sadly.

Amazing. Plain and simple. The cherry is what really pops on the nose after you open the can. It's name is on point. Very nice balance between all ingredients. Love the pineapple. Super sweet but that's to be expected!
