About This Beer
Washington Beer Awards gold and silver medalist!
Wander Brewing crafted this celebrated sipper by aging a Belgian-inspired Sour base in their American oak foeder for a year, then maturing it even further with foraged uncultivated plums gathered from the hills of Washington’s Yakima Valley.
Tasting Notes
The whole stone fruit gives the mildly funky brew intricate juicy nuances that build beautifully on its delicate oak and hay tones. Tangy refreshment mingles with jammy dried plum notes, followed by almond-like hints from steeping with the pits.

This is probably one of the best sour ales I’ve had. Very easy to drink; I think even those who typically shy away from sours could enjoy this: it reminds me of a sour cand, but really well balanced. Not too sweet and only just enough tart to get your tastebuds excited as opposed to the overwhelming sourness that turns a lot of people away.
Highly recommend trying this one if you get a chance.
