A Note on This Beer
When we say the brewers at Urban Artifact are fruit-obsessed, we mean 3,000 lbs of fruit-kind of obsessed.
These Cincinnati-based brewers are so hooked on the juice, they loaded today’s Pocketwatch with 1,000 lbs of Concord grapes, 1,000 lbs of black currants, and 1,000 lbs of red plums. That’s literally a ton and a half of fruit!
With all that tart, and juicy flavor, it’s no surprise they crafted 7 of the Top 50 Fruit Beers on UT. And since their small-batch brews rarely ever leave Ohio, this is your chance to taste this 4.22 BA rated brew that fans are calling the pinnacle of Urban Artifact’s expertise:
“Now this is what I’m talking about. I keep saying how great these far out brews from Urban Artifact are, and Pocketwatch embodies all that.”
The aroma invades the nose as soon as the can is cracked. It’s deep purple Welch’s-like pour is brimming with tart Concord grapes and notes of sweet vanilla. Ripe stone fruit and hints of earthy funk burst on the palate while bright berries wash over the tastebuds.
Sipping Pocketwatch is a fruit-driven flavor journey that only a lucky few will get to experience. This limited-release is only brewed once a year, so snag a few bottles of this mouth-puckering treat before it’s gone.
