About This Beer

If you’ve yet to try a Golden Oatmeal Stout, you’re in for a real treat. All those classic dark beer characteristics are present, but the golden version has a fluffy, creamy body that makes each sip like taking a ride down a glorious rainbow… Made of BEER!

What’s more, the Listermann crew added on to the magically delicious treat with a batch of cacao, chocolate, and coffee along with delicate laces of milk sugar for an even more delectable brew!

Tasting Notes

Like a chomp from an Irish cream cake, every sip is an opulent dance into dessert bliss. First the sip is thick and rich, then it gets a touch of roast from the coffee and malt. It all settles on a creamy finish, with no bitterness or burn.

I bought this because what the hell is a golden stout? Not so golden but it is heavy on vanilla and has a bit of creamy chocolate aftertaste

somewhat disappointing, especially compared to Listermann’s usual caliber. nice oat mouthfeel, but many of the flavors don’t come through and it comes off more like a lager then a cream stout

Sweet vanilla in the nose. A little sweet, slight coffee bitterness, and a bit of butterscotch. Not bad.

I've had their Golden Stout Pot O Gold before. I don't know if they had some kind of difference but I didn't enjoy this one nearly as much as the past one.

Creamy, but none of the advertised flavors came through for me. Given Listermann’s incredible track record with their stouts, I cannot help but feel a little underwhelmed by this one.

Awesome sweetness without being overwhelming. The oats really shine hear with that creaminess. A little malty, even? Really — what a combo. Delicious.
