About This Beer
This is one of Hop Butcher for the World’s most celebrated juicebombs, but only rarely do they drop new batches. They brew it less than once a year, and hopheads line up for a sip the moment that cans drop.
Tasting Notes
Every sip is a flood of pineapple, peach, and fresh squeezed OJ. The pillow-soft body doesn’t reveal a trace of the 7.5% ABV, and it all leads into a slightly dry finish with hints of piney resin.

sabro takes the center stage, a bit piney, juicy

Nice and hoppy yet quite smooth. Nice citrus overtones.

I had high hopes for this one, but it didn’t really do it for me. Some good flavors, but overriding dank sweetness that was just a bit too much.

Great floral aroma, malty and subtle flavor, with hints of pine, vanilla, and lime. Clean finish that lingers lightly floral.

New England/Hazy IPAs are not a favored style of mine. Far too many are hopped to the point of silliness and lack balance and subtlety. They also don’t travel well. But after drinking two of these, I get the appeal. It brings intense flavors and aromas of citrus and tropical fruit that play against some, to me, earthy, overripe tropical fruit and piney resin notes. Sure, it’s a juice bomb, but the dry finish and hop bitterness give this some balance and depth I am not accustomed to seeing in this rather grotesque, one-note style. Bravo, Hop Butcher!

Bubblegum and Flintstones vitamins all day. Even lingers on palate well after finished.

Full body, heavy sweetness.

Bits of grapefruit and some OJ make this a good IPA. It came across as a bit heavy though.
