About This Beer
Varietal started with a rich base before aging it in a blend of Willet bourbon and rye whiskey barrels for 18 months for decadent accents of sweet oak and wood spice.
Tasting Notes
Each chewy quaff carries a medley of sticky toffee, bourbon-soaked date, and creme anglaise nuances. Cinnamony rye spice swirls throughout blending with the warming whiskey, never fully revealing the bold 14.3% ABV.

Good oaky barrel, but there’s something a little off about this one, can’t put my finger on it.

Thin and diluted. Lacked body and flavor. Drain pour.

Missing a backbone. Kind of surprising given I have had other barleywines from this brewery that I loved.

Has a rich rye and whiskey barrel flavor, but don't get the full bodied toffee and caramel flavor like better barlelywines
