A Note on This Beer
Visit Cambridge, Massachusetts, and you’ll see more bunnies springing around the Harvard lawn than squirrels. The only thing fluffier and hoppier than these adorable fuzzballs is Lamplighter Brewing’s Rabbit Rabbit Hazy Double IPA -- with a huge 4.14 score on Tavour, it’s the beer that made us fall for Lamplighter in the first place!
When we heard the brewery whipped up a fresh batch of this impossibly smooth mango-melon juicebomb, we couldn’t resist getting our paws on it. Double dry-hopping with Citra, Amarillo, and Idaho 7 delivers dank cantaloupe, candied pineapple, and according to BA user @ScaryEd, “a literal mango Armageddon” on the palate. Clocking in at a sneaky 8.5% ABV, it packs in this spring-loaded spectrum of tropical fruits with a sharp hit of spicy green bitterness on the backend. This is one armageddon of flavor you can cuddle with.
So much flavor, so much juice, so much pillowy softness -- Rabbit Rabbit is a haze lover’s dream pet. Lamplighter is surrounded by other huge names in the NE-style IPA scene like Trillium and Treehouse; with highly-rated, velvety-smooth Hazies like Rabbit Rabbit, they’re hoppin’ high with the best of ‘em!
