About This Beer
The Barrels! The team at Parish aged this 11% ABV behemoth in a mix of peach brandy, maple bourbon, and Elijah Craig bourbon barrels. That means every sip drips with flavors of stone fruit, syrup, and whiskey caramel!
The Adjuncts! As if that weren’t enough, the brewers conditioned the beer on macadamia nut, graham cracker, cinnamon, and Madagascar vanilla. Those tasty morsels combine with the barrel notes and the base beer to create a flavor that can only be described as ‘boozy, artisanal peach cobbler.’
Tasting Notes
Every flavor beautifully balances against the others. Let a sip melt across your tastebuds, and you’ll bob between notes of peach pie, oak, and vanilla, before diving into nuances of toffee and candied dates from the Barleywine base. The graham cracker comes in on the finish, recreating a freshly baked crust.
