About This Beer
Alesong conditioned the Sour base of Raindrops on Roses with crushed Pinot Noir grapes from their neighbors at King Estate Winery. Then they gave it a short stint in stainless steel before transferring the brew to French oak barrels from Durant Vineyards to finish aging.
Tasting Notes
The beer-wine hybrid is pitch perfect — each taste scales octaves of nuance, ranging from delicate rose petals, to tart acidity, jammy cherries, and funky farmyard flavors. Vinous tannins give the beer a crisp, dry finish, leaving you to muse over its satisfying complexity.

Sometimes I rate these beers after a couple sips. This one I had to finish because it had to grow on me. This is is a very good sour, not the wine-beer cross I thought at first.
