Remember Rocko’s Modern Life? It was one of those 90s cartoon shows that was supposed to be for kids, but was filled with thinly veiled jokes for adults. There was a character named Dr. Bendova, and they once aired an episode called ‘Carnival Knowledge.’

Again, this was a kids show. 

Interestingly, today’s Rakau’s Modern Haze is sort of the opposite — it’s aimed at adults (duh) but the kid in you will definitely appreciate the tropical citrus flavors. You could practically fill a juice box with this stuff! 

Just be careful how fast you sip it, or that 8% ABV might lead directly to naptime. 

To make it, the brewers at California’s Alpha Acid snagged a Heifer-sized pile of Rakau and Strata Hops all the way from Rocko-the-wallaby’s home Down Under. When all those cones inundate Alpha Acid’s thick, Hazy IPA body, they create dense layers of tangy tangerine, ripe pineapple, and sticky mango. 

It’s like a melty whirlpool of tropical sorbet and freshly squeezed citrus, with just a whisper of pine and grapefruit pithyness on the finish — just the thing for binging cartoons on a lazy Saturday. 

But, you won’t find a sip outside of California, except for right here, and we have less than 40 cases to go around!
