A Note on This Beer
I’ll never forget the moment I fell in love. It was romantic in every way.
Aromas of decadent raspberry torte tantalized my nostrils, my knees went weak at the first whiff. Waves of tart raspberries, rich layers of dark chocolate, subtle hints of roasted coffee— there was no going back to my humdrum life after tasting this layered beer. (Obviously I fell in love with a beer, what else would it be?)
It was the European masters at Belgium’s Van Honsebrouck who captivated my heart, and my taste buds, with their RaspBarista Chocolate Quad.
This liquid romance pours with a light, approachable body and a smooth finish. As a dessert beer, RaspBarista flirts with the boozy allure of the Belgian style while offering a lighter, mellower body than most Quads.
The rosy cheek-inducing 11% ABV is the result of Van Honsebrouck blending their original Barista Chocolate Quad with their St. Louis Framboise Lambic beer. It’s clear that these two classics were as destined to be together as Romeo and Juliet... or me and this beer.
Everyone talks about soulmates, but for me romance comes from a Belgian bottle of boozy raspberry chocolate. And this love is everlasting.
