Well, Jacob, I’ve found a beer that’ll impress you and everyone out there with elevated taste buds! Raspberry Cabernet Barrel Aged J. Marie is an exquisite marriage of beer and wine, and it comes from the farmhouse experts at River North. 

The brewers took J. Marie, one of their OG Imperial Saisons and a beloved fan favorite, and aged it for six months in cabernet sauvignon barrels. Then, they added 15 lbs per barrel of tart raspberries. Each taste is a burst of juicy berries and robust oak, with a whisper of red wine on the finish. 

Locals love the “mountains of fresh raspberry” in this clean, crisp Saison. The lucky few who’ve gotten a taste are rating it 4.21 on Untappd!

So, the next time you break out the cheese board and the crudité, try passing on the Pinot and pouring a glass of this delicious brew instead!
