About This Beer
To create this peanut butter and jelly sandwich-inspired sip, the Garagiste crew loaded their honey wine base with heaps of concord grapes and real gooey peanut butter! The sweet pour really does recall an old-fashioned PB&J, with luscious notes of jammy fruit and plenty of rich, nutty flavor.
Tasting Notes
It’s so much like the real thing, you might be tempted to stick a bottle in your lunchbox and take it to work! But given that enormous ABV, we wouldn’t recommend it.

Peanut/peanut butter aroma. Medicinal grape taste. Smaller sips allow for more of a grape jelly taste. Unique.

It is very reminiscent of a PB&J, but there is an artificiality to the grape flavor. It's a sweet mead (which I like), but it's only good in small doses. There's no quaffing this mead. Great to try, but I wouldn't buy this again.

Getting more purple flavor soda vibes from this than grape mead, which is surprisingly not bad. The dry roasted peanut flavor on the back end that tastes like fake PB is what's hurting this mead the most to me.

I’m missing the grape jelly but there’s a ton of peanuts on the nose & palate. Huge fan of Garagiste but this one not for me. Did not go well with beef dumplings. What was I thinking?
