A Note on This Beer
When Aslin Brewing first opened their doors back in 2015, they figured they’d be a fun little taproom in the sleepy town of Herndon, Virginia. But that’s not how things went down.
Once folks got a taste of the new brewery’s IPAs, they wanted more. Every release drew lines down the block, and the little space couldn’t handle the load. Even on normal nights, crowds spilled into the parking lot!
It was too much — the sleepy neighborhood couldn’t handle all the traffic, and the brewery had to shut their taproom down.
Undeterred, the brewers set up a picnic table in front of the building’s garage and started selling cans. And the crowds kept coming. Last year, Aslin opened a shiny new brewery and taproom in nearby Alexandria (Eater describes the decor as “Lisa Frank on acid”) and we finally got a small stash to share!

With a massive dose of Chinook, Centennial, and Amarillo Hops, you’ll find notes of bright citrus in every sip. The rye grain adds a spicy note along with a touch of biscuity malt, and on the finish a hefty dollop of resinous pine balances the fruity notes for a beer you’ll want to drink all day.
If you want to try a sip from one of the country’s hottest breweries, grab a can quickly before our stash runs out!
According to The Washington Post, Aslin makes the D.C. area’s “best and buzziest craft beers!”
