About This Beer
To make this stunning Strong Ale, the legendary Fremont Brewing crew aged a luxurious Barleywine for 14 months in Basil Hayden and Knob Creek bourbon barrels. Then they blended it with a sumptuous Stout crafted by the GABF-winning crew at Fort George and aged for 14 months in Westward and Willet whiskey barrels.
Tasting Notes
We haven’t had a chance to taste this extremely limited release yet, but we’re looking forward to the luxurious vanilla oak and top-shelf whiskey nuances these exquisite barrels are going to impart on the rich, roasty malt character. All while notes of lip-smacking caramel-drizzled raisin swirl underneath.
