About This Beer
The Fonta Flora brewers packed this Appalachian Wild Ale with a massive 4lbs per gallon of fresh strawberries, used local barley and raw wheat, and allowed it to bottle ferment with their house-mixed cultures. The result is tart “funky-funk goodness” that sings with that nostalgic, summer berry taste.

Well done, it can be tricky getting strawberries in a beer: a misstep can leave an off rubber taste. I don't know how well it will cellar, but at the moment it's very good.

Lightly tart, strawberry malt without the usual golden sour backbone. Delicious funk that brings the berry in a novel brew.
