About This Beer
The brewers chose five superb brews from their cellars to mix together into this top notch cuvée. They included wild, spontaneously, and traditionally fermented brews aged in Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, French oak, and neutral oak barrels. The vintages spanned 2011 to 2016, and when the crew bottled this beauty in early 2018, they added a touch of honey from their own hives for conditioning.
Tasting Notes
Fans of Farmhouse Ales and full-bodied white wines are sure to swoon over Ripple’s balanced brightness, complex nuances of oak, and champagne-like effervescence. Tangy aromas of apricot and hay lead you into each smooth mouthful. Apple and overripe stone fruit notes mingle with subtle bread crust tones, while layers of earthy funk swirl underneath. A hint of floral rose leads into glimmers of nectarine and citrus zest in the finish.
