When the brewers graced us with a stash of their newest brew, we bowed down in reverence. The brewers packed this 12.5% ABV delicacy with real cocoa, vanilla, almonds, and marshmallows to harness the rich and gooey flavors of the classic ice cream.

With skills like that, it’s no wonder Wild Leap collects prestigious awards like jewels in a crown. Sparkliest of all, they were honored as USA Today’s Best New Brewery of 2019!

Overall mediocre score for me. Tried lots of craft stouts and Porters over the years. Just lacked complexity in my opinion.

I split this with a friend, they really tasted the Rocky Road ice cream, I did not. I definitely got chocolate, but nothing else and I was really waiting for the almond to come through.

My wife and I loved this. We got notes of chocolate and I got some hints of marshmallow. Not much almond at all but I appreciate that this wasn’t a sweet stout. I will definitely get more if I can.

This beer deserves an 80ish/100 definitely. But it would be hard to convince me to raise it. If it were called chocolate ice cream stout I think it would fit the taste better. If I had more marshmellow it could be rocky road and ANY almond flavor would have been better imo

Wow! This is a delicious stout!! Will have to get this the next time around. But it’s a smooth and tasty sipper! It really tastes like Rocky Road and is perfect as a stout. I think it’s balanced just right! A winner for sure.

Description sounds amazing! I couldn't wait. I was pretty disappointed when it was nothing special. Barely if any marshmallow. The beer wasn't bad, it was a solid stout but nothing like the description.

Solid Stout. Good amount of kick. Does not remind me of ice cream .. unfortunately. Very chocolatey, but almond is nowhere to be found.
