About This Beer
The folks at WeldWerks brew this joymaker with sarsaparilla and birch bark — the same stuff that old school soda fountains used. Then they added a double scoop of vanilla and lactose for melty ice cream flavors.
Tasting Notes
It’s so much like the real thing, it might leave you feeling like you should slip on some footie pajamas and watch cartoons all night.

I’m not sure how I felt about this, it was interesting and definitely was drinkable but I don’t think I’d ever go back to it

Too thin for a stout and tastes artificially sweet. Like a Not Your Father’s Root Beer. Disappointing. Bet it would be better nitro.

I am not really a fan of Root Beer, but dropped this in some Tillamook Vanilla Bean ice cream and it was honestly awesome.

Not sure if this root beer flavored beer or beer flavored root beer. It is enjoyable

Odd. Would not get this one again

Legit smells like a root beer float. Vanilla, root beer, a little malty. Sort of like not your fathers root beer but better served for the craft beer crowd. Absolute home run. Vanilla flavors pop. Such a great beer.

It tastes like a hard root beer. Not bad, but the root beer doesn't compliment the alcohol flavor as well as I would have liked.

Really tastes like root beer. Interesting but not something I want to drink a lot of.

The aroma was just like a root beer! nicely done. Flavor wise I get some saspiralla.
it's not super strong flavor wise. I had a second one and it was better than the first one. I've revised this post to the positive.

Such a cool beer! Smells and tastes just like a root beer with a slightly bitter/stout aftertaste. Not as creamy as I would have liked but delicious nonetheless.
