A Note on This Beer
Mavericks have Burning Man.
Music lovers have Coachella.
IPA fanatics have Stone Brewing’s RuinTen Triple IPA.
Available only once a year, this is Stone’s hop masterpiece: five pounds of hops per barrel, 110 IBUS and a 10.5% ABV that rains down merciless hop variety without stopping.
Stone calls it a “mosh pit of hops” and the community agrees. With a 96 on Beer Advocate and a 100 on Ratebeer, IPA fans from all over debate its endless well of flavor from fruit to spice to vegetable – RuinTen Triple IPA just might have it all.
Obscene dry hopping of Citra and Centennial Hops joins a spicy botanical rainforest with plump orchard groves of pineapple, lemons and cantaloupe. The fruit just keeps on coming as you continue to drink: honeydew, gooseberry, even plums! Green onion, garlic, coriander and pine also present along with every other flavor conceived under the hop rainbow. Magnum Hops contribute a powerfully crafted bitterness – but RuinTen isn’t about the bitter – it’s about the many possibilities of hop flavor.
Insane fan demand turned RuinTen into an annual release and IPA fans have been anticipating its return with vigor! If you see this boozy, colossal hop monster – don’t hesitate to pounce. Drink it fresh while it’s here because you’ll miss it when it’s gone.
