The brewers took their fan favorite Imperial Stout and barrel aged it in sweet, complex Rye Barrels for this special vintage of Night Whale!
Tasting Notes
Each sip starts with aromas of roasted espresso and hints of the oak barrels in which it was aged. Tastes of vanilla and complex spices from the rye whiskey come crashing onto the palette, bellowing a mighty call of deliciousness that mellows its colossal 15.8% ABV!

Pitch black with quickly dissolving head, no lacing. Thick milky body with rye overload , caramel, roasted malt some fruits and nice booze heat. Fantastic!

Barrel aged chocolate and slight caramel on the flavor, and smells like baked goods. Mixy reviews had me scared but the taste and smell made me regret not having two bottles. 4.3

Very dark caolored and you can smell the booze. Light malty note and a punch of rye booze throughout. Love it!
