About This Beer
The brewers started with the same malty base as their beloved DBA Pale Ale, but with a dash of rye grain for greater depth and complexity. Then they aged it in whiskey barrels!
Tasting Notes
Barrel aging propels the toffee and caramel tones of the base beer to startling heights, with nuances of oak and peppery spice sparkling on the periphery.

Toffee, caramel, rye whiskey, leather, brown sugar, maple syrup, vanilla, dark fruit, brownie and fudge with nuts. Full body, sticky texture with average carbonation. Long, boozy, warming finish. Excellent!
