About This Beer
For this treat, the WeldWerks Stout savants started with their traditional Medianoche grist bill before adding four different types of rye: flaked, malted, crystal, and chocolate. Then they aged the brew in 10-year-old Templeton and 4-year-old Willet Family Estate rye whiskey barrels for 28 months, soaking it in sweet, spicy complexity.
Tasting Notes
Decadent currents of spiced dried fruit, creme brûlée, and dark cocoa tones course through every thick quaff like a sumptuous cinnamon raisin loaf. Bourbon caramel rises underneath, carrying into a warm rye finish –– all hiding the bold ABV!
