About This Beer
To craft this barrel aged stunner, the world-class Oregon crew brewed with roasted barley and golden naked oats for a toasty, nutty Brown Ale with rich chocolatey nuances. Then they aged the brew in rye whiskey barrels for a year!
Tasting Notes
Cascades of whiskey caramel, dark mocha, and oaky vanilla course through every sip. Dark fruit and peppery barrel spice come after.

rye whiskey notes on the nose and slight on the taste, but still got that brown ale flavor. Nicely done!

Aroma of brown sugar and vanilla with a touch of rye. Bourbon, dark fruit, light nuttiness, rye spiciness, and some toffee in the taste. Fun take on a BA Brown.

I said it before, I'll say it again, these guys know how to brew great beer. This brown was nutty, mapled candy with a slight bitterness to it. Can't wait to enjoy my last bottle.

This was great. pFriem does great things with barrel aging. This one did a great job threading the needle between a full flavored brown and a big barrel boi.
