About This Beer
Revolution’s Chicagoland crew crafted this rarely-seen style with 60% rye, giving the grain bill a distinct, richly spiced taste. Aging it in bourbon and rye barrels infused the brew with nuances of oaky vanilla in each smooth sip.
Tasting Notes
Notes of sweet whiskey caramel and crème brûlée burst out of every drop, accentuated by hints of dried apple and apricot. Delicate touches of cocoa flow underneath a whisper of barrel char, before a spicy rye finish.

Big fan. I have liked everything I’ve had from Revolution . It’s definitely like a barleywine. Can absolutely taste the caramel. Front and back are both good, I don’t get a spice at all.

Taste begins with a big and robust rye bread flavor mixed with a big sweetness of caramel, toffee as well as some fruit flavors of cherry and plum. Brown sugar and spice of coriander and pepper. Delicious boozy and barrel flavors developing as the taste advances. Yum!
