I rarely bring up “The Great Mai Tai Tragedy.”

The goal was to surprise my wife with her favorite blended Mai Tai. But, halfway through, I dropped the blender and spilled sticky juice all over my favorite shirt. Then, rushing across the room to snag a paper towel, I slipped in the syrupy-mess like a kid on a slip ‘n’ slide.

Now, if we had a few cans of Evil Twin’s Ryste Ryste Guava Passion Fruit Milkshake IPA in the fridge, the evening would have been entirely saved! 

Heaps of fresh guava, drippy passion fruit, and luscious vanilla generate a harmonious trio of tastes. Brewed with a little milk sugar, its smooth mouthfeel mimics that of a velvety cocktail from a five-star Hawaiian resort. 

I admit there’s NO way I could’ve whipped up something with nearly as much sweet n’ juicy, tropical fruit flavor. But, if anyone’s going to pull it off, it’s the brewery Paste Mag, Forbes, and the New York Times all praise as one of the most celebrated in the country. 

We’ll certainly celebrate them now, and again when Evil Twin saves us from another blender tragedy!
