About This Beer
The Listermann crew got schwifty with this one, broh. It’s a straight up campfire side snack in a can broh. We’re talking vanilla and graham cracker and nutmeg and marshmallow and lactose all in one beer. Awwww yeah, heck yeeeah.
Tasting Notes
Rich, chocolatey sweetness swells upfront wrapped in a creamy mouthfeel. The fluffy marshmallow flavors swirl with roasted nutmeg and cinnamon-y graham cracker, sandwiching it all in campfire-treat goodness.
The flavors are so full, you’ll almost think you’re in a dimension where everything is pure, delicious S’mores. Hey, that’s pretty n-neat Rick. Thanks!

Loved this beer. Was never a fan of the cereal but I do love peanut butter, and I felt like I was drinking PB.

Loved how it tasted kinda like a marshmallow mocha

Vanilla bomb of a stout. Really good if you like heaps of vanilla.

Aromas of chocolate and marshmallows, taste a bit of artificial flavors but not bad

Sweet, and tasty!

"Aw geez Rick" Bold and chocolatey. Marshmallow and lactose lend some decent sweetness and a creamy thickness. Warm vanilla, hints of spice from the nutmeg, graham cracker sprinkled throughout...

Flavor was good besides the rubbing alcohol finish. Dissatisfied.

This stout is the best stout ever!

Take me back to camp and let me make some S’mores! So good!

Interesting flavor, not too strong, not too sweet

This was better than expected. I think this may be the best stout I’ve encountered. It’s very smooth and the marshmallow finish is subtle and nice.

Simply put, fantastic. The single best pastry stout I’ve ever had. Will definitely order again

Great flavors pretty good stout

Lots of chocolate up front, but the marshmallow never really appears. Slightly strange aftertaste that lingers.

It tasted exactly like S‘mores cereal. Golden Grahams, chocolate, and marshmallow. Would absolutely get again.

More vanilla flavoring than anything else. Weird aftertaste. Not bad, but I’ve had better s’mores stouts.

Subtle. Not too sweet, good mouthfeel

I was so excited for this and it is thin and lacking :(

Ordered from Tavour, chilled, and poured into an imperial pint glass. Look: Very dark brown, almost black, but opaque. Small light brown finger sized head that disappeared quickly and left a light foam on the surface. As we drank, a little stickiness on the glass but no lacing. Smell: Roast up front, followed by sweet dark chocolate and marshmallow. Smells just like a s’more! Taste: Sweet malt on the very front, followed by light roast, chocolate, and vanilla with trailing marshmallow. On the backend you get this sweet roasty aftertaste that lingers into a maltiness that seems like it echoes graham crackers, although that is hard to taste. No real booze to speak of and definitely no hops. Feel: Medium to full body, almost syrupy but not too heavy. Light tickle of carbonation that lingers even as it warms. No drying booziness. Overall this is a lovely sweet pastry stout. We only ordered two from Tavour and we are wishing we had more! Cheers everyone!

Solid flavors. Sweet and roasty

Closer to a regular stout. Could be that I’ve grown accustomed to pastry stouts that pack a punch of flavor. Overall good flavor, just not the beer that was described

Really solid smores beer. Has nice chocolate notes and a creamy, yet mild marshmallow profile

Chocolate, bulkier mouthfeel rich. Vanilla aftertaste. No graham cracker though

Well done! Creamy and marshmallowy! Absolutely loved it as much as I loved the dark yet playful artwork featuring mallowcide.

Was okay not the best but bot the worst definitely could tell that there was marshmallow and chocolate in there but the vanilla at times seemed to be a bit overwhelming hoped for more Graham cracker but hey one of the best s’mores stouts I’ve tasted also the alcohol taste seemed to cut through everything

Loved the marshmallow in this, really smooth!
3.5
Disappointing and underwhelming taste for a beer with so much potential and an otherwise wonderful brewery. Ends up undecided between being a regular stout and the dessert stout it promised to be

More chocolate than anything, marshmallow flavor is subtle, but overall decent beer.

Marshmallow comes out here with the chocolate, etc. Could be a bit more creamier.
2nd go around - it’s really good - upped .50 stars - it’s all there with the creaminess.

Heavy on the chocolate

There’s some chocolate (and a little espresso??) upfront. Marshmallow swirls around the palate and the nutmeg-y cinnamon-y graham cracker lingers on the tongue

Taste like a s’more
