About This Beer

Super Sad Thug is the 9% ABV Imperial version of the first Sour in Liquid Love’s fan-favorite Fruited Sour series, Sad Thug. It was brewed in celebration of the brewery’s one year anniversary!

They added nearly an entire ton of blueberry puree and vanilla, as well as a hearty dose of milk sugar, to a base of Pilsner malt, wheat malt, and granola.

Tasting Notes

Waves of blueberry crumble splash across the palate with each sip. Granola gives the brew a delectable graham-like note and a mild tartness makes each taste that much more refreshing.

Impeccable beer and I’m not generally a sour fan. Thick mouthfeel, blueberries up front followed by the lactose, finishes nicely with the vanilla/granola & has a pleasant lingering tartness

More brown and lighter in blueberry, granola and pie character than the Super Sad Thug. Still tasty with a nice light dessert finish. It would’ve been nice to taste them side-by-side.

Very good flavor, just really which they would have went without the lactose in this brew. I dont mind "milkshake" brew but this one would have been some much more if it was just a regular sour
