A Note on This Beer
Veteran Jason Duren sustained 2 serious brain injuries in the span of 5 days overseas. When neurologists suggested a hobby would help his healing, they planted the seeds of Cider Corps.
Along with his brother Josh, Jason turned that hobby into Arizona’s first — and now award-winning* — cidery.
You’d be hard pressed to find more innovative Ciders, like today’s cherry brew. After studying sustainable agriculture and microbiology, the brothers nailed down a fermentation process that cuts down sugar and amps up flavor.
Named for Navy vet and tattooing legend Sailor Jerry, Sailor Cherry is rich with sour cherry and subtle tropical fruit flavors. The brewers added a blend of lemon, lime, peach, and tangerine to give depth to the strong cherry.
A summertime hit among Arizona patrons, this Cider is crisp, dry, and pleasantly tart. Grab a sip and find out why folks in the Grand Canyon state love this refresher after a sunny day hike, poolside, and — as the Durens intended — to share with friends.
The brothers’ goal was to create a space that could bring people together over pints of bevvies unlike anything they’d had before. Drink great Cider, honor great sacrifice, and enjoy the creation of these dedicated craftsmen.
*Cider Corps took home a gold in the 2019 US Open Cider Championships, and USA Today named it the fifth best cidery in the country.
